Thank you for choosing to upgrade your experience and commitment to making this program a success. Here are add-ons that you get as part of your Training Camp Experience.
Your family is now officially a client of S.P.E.D. Advocates. We will begin by preparing a considerations report and building a detailed profile for your child. This helps us fully understand their strengths, needs, and current supports so we can advocate from a place of clarity and accuracy.
Please use the email provided to send all of your child’s reports, starting with the earliest documents you have and continuing through the most recent. The more complete the record, the stronger our preparation.
Plus, as a client you receive:
Personalized documents
Live feedback
Advocate tag-alongs
The ability to CC us on school email communications
Priority support for approaching deadlines
The opportunity to submit program suggestions or add-on requests for review
The Support Group is where you will interact with parents, caregivers, and allies outside of the Training Camp. It is a safe space for families navigating the special needs journey. Some members are seasoned, others are just beginning. It is where they share their highs and lows, their glows and grows, the good, the hard, and the honest parts of this path. The group meets bi-weekly to exchange knowledge, encouragement, and lived experience. For you as a PAT, this space is also practice. You are one of the voices of clarity, reason, and steady support. Make it a priority to show up and engage at least once during each cycle. Share a resource, offer a tool, provide thoughtful insight, or ask a meaningful question that invites conversation. Why does this matter? Because every time you exercise your knowledge, problem-solving, and research skills, you strengthen your capacity as an advocate for your Little. When you step forward and contribute, you are not just learning. You are stepping into your authority.
We use Skool to host our Training Camp. This is the central space where you and your fellow PAT Trainees communicate, collaborate, and grow together. Inside this space, you are not required to carry authority. You are allowed to ask questions, process openly, and be honest about where you are stretching. This is where you build alongside other advocates who understand the weight and responsibility of supporting families. Skool is also where you will access training recordings, request templates, submit research questions, request legal support guidance, and stay informed about updates and program developments. This is your workspace, your classroom, and your peer room. Use it!
